How many days before travelling should I make a reservation?

For long trips (e.g. Athens to Lefkada) please contact us at least 5-6 days before travelling. For simple transfers (e.g. Athens Airport to Athens city center) you can reserve a vehicle 2-3 days before.

Do infants count as regular passengers?

Yes, infants and children count as members of your group. Please keep in mind that they cannot travel on another passenger’s lap; they need a child seat. CityTransfer offers child & booster seats for children up to 5 years old free of charge.

What is the booking process?

Send us your transfer request by filling the form on your left, via email at or through the chat. Within a few minutes you will receive our offer. If you agree with the price and general terms, confirm the service by simply replying to our message. You are not required to give a deposit or enter credit card data to secure your booking. Payment is completed directly on driver with cash or debit/credit card. Please keep in mind that during the booking process providing all passengers’ names, scheduled arrival time, flight details and one contact number is mandatory.

Is the price given final? Are there any hidden charges?

Prices are final and there are no hidden charges. Prices include all taxes, tolls, fuel surcharge, chauffeur services and car rental. Cost is per vehicle and NOT per person.

Where do we meet our driver? How do we recognize him/her?

If you are at Athens International Airport, our driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals hall. If the pick-up is scheduled at the port, your chauffeur will be close to the port gate. Lastly, for pick-ups from hotels, the driver will be waiting at the reception or at the accommodation’s entrance. In all cases, drivers hold signboards with the leader passenger’s name.

Should I tip the driver?

Our quote does not include tips for the drivers. If you are satisfied with the service received from your chauffeur, you can give a tip between 5% and 15% of your total charge. This is entirely at your discretion. Whatever the amount, the gesture will be much appreciated.

What is the profile of my driver?

All drivers are professionals with great experience in the tourism industry. They speak English fluently and are local experts. They pass medical & psychiatric tests every six (6) months and are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

What happens if I need to cancel my trip?

You can cancel your private service without any penalty. Please inform our office via email or phone, at least one (1) full day before. Informing us on time is of paramount importance for our daily operation. Contact us at, +306971545295 or +306986500900.

Do you offer wheelchair assistance?

Unfortunately our vehicles are not designed to accommodate wheelchair users. They are not equipped with wheelchair ramps and lifts.
